We are delighted to announce that Rebecca Casey has been elected as the new President of the Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association of British Columbia (CMBA-BC). Rebecca brings with her a wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence in the mortgage industry, making her an invaluable asset to our association.

Rebecca has served on the board since 2021 and has been a member of the Association through her entire career as a mortgage broker. Rebecca’s role within the CMBA-BC has been as director, Vice President, and Chair of several committees, contributing to the development of our programs and initiatives, events and education.

Her vision for the future of the mortgage industry in BC is both innovative and inclusive, ensuring that our association remains at the forefront of industry advancements and advocacy.

As President, Rebecca aims to enhance member engagement, provide more educational opportunities, and strengthen the association’s role as a leading voice in the mortgage industry. We are confident that under her leadership, CMBA-BC will continue to thrive and support its members in navigating the evolving landscape of mortgage brokerage.

Joining Rebecca on the Executive Committee are Vice President, Kyle Williams, Treasurer, Tricia McIntosh, and Secretary, Deb White. Other members of the Board include Marci Deane (Past President), Jane Wakelyn, Jennifer Sternig, Sunny Sarai, Konstantin Seroshtan, and newly elected Debora Seehuber-Mann, Nolan Smith and Jeff Brown.

The CMBA-BC’s Chief Executive Officer, Carla Giles, serves as a non-voting member of the CMBA-BC Executive Committee.

The Executive Committee along with the rest of the Board of Directors are eager to spearhead initiatives that will empower CMBA-BC members and amplify their voices within the industry and to the public at large. In the coming months, the entire Board looks forward to connecting with CMBA-BC members, forging stronger relationships, building on the hard work of the last Board and sharing the incredible work that the association undertakes on its members’ behalf.
