2024 MB Recognition Awards
We are pleased to open this year’s MB Awards in the following categories:
MB Pioneer Award for Lifetime Achievement
Criteria Description: The Pioneer Award for lifetime achievement Awarded to an individual member who has showcased exemplary leadership within CMBA-BC and actively advocates for the Mortgage Broker industry across British Columbia. This entails sustained engagement with our members, regulators, lending community, and the public. Nominees must be or previously been licensed mortgage brokers whose primary occupation is/was that of arranging mortgages. Nominees are ineligible if currently serving as a director on the CMBA BC Board of Directors or the MBIBC Board of Directors. Additionally, previous recipients of this award are not eligible for consideration.
MB Community Service Recognition
Criteria Description: The Community Service Recognition Award is awarded yearly to an individual member of the CMBA-BC and the Mortgage Broker Industry who has shown outstanding service to the community, charities or philanthropic organizations that support and improve the communities that we live in. Nominees are ineligible if currently serving as a director on the CMBA BC Board of Directors or the MBIBC Board of Directors. Additionally, previous recipients of this award are not eligible for consideration.

MB Individual Partner Recognition
Criteria Description: The Individual Partner Recognition Award is awarded yearly to an individual member of the CMBA-BC and the Mortgage Broker Industry who is recognized as an influential CMBA-BC member whose commitment and energy has benefited the growth of our Association. Nominees are ineligible if currently serving as a director on the CMBA BC Board of Directors or the MBIBC Board of Directors. Additionally, previous recipients of this award are not eligible for consideration.

MB Corporate Partner Recognition
Criteria Description: The Corporate Partner Recognition Award recognizes an organization who has collaborated closely with CMBA-BC on initiatives, projects, education and events that benefit our members.

About the Awards Selection Committee
The Awards Selection Committee is an appointed task force made up of Board members and, if desired, members in good standing. This task force shall be responsible for the solicitation of and nomination of awards in all categories. The Committee will be chaired by the current Past President of CMBA-BC. The Committee will include a mixture of past recipients, current Board members, and members of the association.
