Foreclosure presents many challenges at the best of times, COVID-19 only emphasizes many of these. How might a broker assist a potential client to navigate foreclosure proceedings? How might lender-brokers protect their investment? What options does foreclosure open for mortgage brokers to assist their present clients and to help serve a new client-base? Often times, a more knowledgeable broker can even help save the day. This session will better prepare you to more likely be that broker, to better identify lending opportunities, and to be able to help more clients. We hope you will join us, to learn these concepts.

Lindsay Goldberg

Lindsay Goldberg earned his law degree from University of Victoria in 1985 and completed his articles with a Victoria firm, working for a very busy foreclosure practitioner there for several years after his call to the Bar before moving to Vancouver, where he’s practiced since.

Lindsay has kept his practice focused primarily on retail collections and mortgage enforcement for his entire 35-year career.  He heads up Fulton’s Vancouver office where his client base includes some of Canada’s largest institutional lenders.  Some of those have handed over their entire retail mortgage default portfolio over to Lindsay for management.

Lindsay has participated in the creation and development of a web-based portal used by one of Canada’s largest banks and a number of his other mortgage enforcement clients.

In his spare time Lindsay plays trumpet and before COVID shut down musical theatre in Vancouver he’s performed in pit bands for a few Vancouver productions, including shows with Theatre Under the Stars.
