Our speaker, Equifax Director of Solutions: Mortgage and Housing Eric Poblete, will better equip you to read their reports, understand what the provided information means and what it doesn’t mean, determine the story the report tells about the prospective borrower, and identify the positives and possible pitfalls.
Our moderator, Senior Broker Marci Deane, will keep the discussion focused on matters of particular importance to you, drawing not only on her own considerable knowledge and experience but as informed by you and our other attendees asking questions in real time.

Eric Poblete
Eric Poblete is a sales professional with over 30 years experience working with all vertical markets. For the last 11 years Eric has worked with Equifax Canada with a focus on the mortgage, rental, and housing industries.
As the Equifax ambassador for the mortgage broker market, he has provided extensive support and education for varied stakeholders including brokers, lenders, underwriters, real estate agents, and insurers. He has helped them understand credit, compliance, financial trends and fraud directly and indirectly related to the mortgage market.

Marci Deane
Marci Deane is a Mortgage Broker and Owner with Ask Marci About Mortgages – Mortgage Architects based in North Vancouver. She has worked in the financial industry for the past 30 years in banking, real estate and mortgage brokering. Marci is consistently a president club winner with Mortgage Architects and she received the top producer award for her team in 2021.
CMP Magazine recently recognized her as a 2022 Woman of Influence in the Mortgage Industry.
Along with running her Brokerage, Marci is very involved in her local community and has held several volunteer board positions over the years. Currently, Marci is the Vice President of CMBA-BC in her second term as a member of the Board of Directors.
On a personal note, Marci lives in North Vancouver with her husband and two almost adult children. In her free time, she enjoys staying active paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking or snow shoeing in the North Shore mountains and in Naramata with her two dogs.
