Member Spotlight: Vivienne Rogers

With more than two decades of Canadian banking experience, Vivienne Rogers has built a reputation for delivering mortgage solutions that are as strategic as they are personal. As part of the Mortgage Architects group, Vivienne, who is based in Prince George, serves clients across the province and beyond, with a particular focus on professionals in the medical, dental, and veterinary fields.

“What drew me to brokering was the ability to deliver a high-trust, personalized service on my own terms,” Vivienne tells CMBA-BC.

It’s this philosophy that has shaped her approach from Day One. Indeed, whether guiding a first-time buyer, supporting a newcomer to Canada, or helping a self-employed client navigate complex financing, Vivienne’s goal is simple.

“I want each client to feel that they are my ‘only client’ when they are buying,” she says.

The CMBA-BC recently had the pleasure of catching up with Vivienne to discuss her journey to mortgage brokering, her favourite locales in beautiful British Columbia, and her go-to podcast pick.

1. How long have you been a member of CMBA-BC?

Three years. I first learned of CMBA-BC when I joined Marci Deane’s group. She was so passionate about the advocacy and education aspect of the association. I was hooked!

2. What’s a skill you’ve always wanted to learn?

I’ve always wanted to learn how to NOT think about mortgages 24/7. I’m learning how to shut off on during my downtime, which is tough for Type A people.

3. What’s your favourite place in BC to enjoy the summer?

I live in northern BC, but I’m happiest at either Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island or at Kaleden with my toes in Skaha Lake.

4. What podcast are you listening to?

I always make time each week for the Loonie Hour, hosted by Steve Saretsky. Our brokerage team actually went to their live event in Vancouver in 2024.

5. Who was your biggest champion or supporter early in your career? How did that impact you?

My husband, Todd, really supported my move from banker to broker. He keeps me grounded by stopping me from over thinking everything! Also, my colleagues Danielle Janzen and Marci Deane are amazing teammates that help me daily!
