Thomas Isaac: Speaker
Aboriginal Law Partner at Cassels
Thomas Isaac is Chair of Cassels’ National Aboriginal Law Group and Co-Chairs Cassels’ National Major Projects Team. A nationally recognized authority in Aboriginal law, Tom advises business and government clients across Canada on Aboriginal legal matters and related regulatory, environmental assessment, negotiations, and constitutional issues. Tom is the author of 17 books. His work has been cited with approval by multiple Canadian courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada and the Federal Court of Appeal.

Marci Deane is a mortgage broker and owner of Ask Marci About Mortgages – Mortgage Architects, located in North Vancouver. She is the Past President of CMBA-BC and the current President of the Mortgage Brokers Institute of British Columbia (MBIBC). With more than 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Marci has worked in banking, real estate, and mortgage brokering. She is a consistent winner of the President’s Club at Mortgage Architects and received the Top Producer Award for her team in 2021.

Tricia McIntosh is a seasoned mortgage broker with a passion for delivering exceptional client care. Licensed since 2010, she began mentoring a team of brokers in 2020, and, in April 2025, partnered with two fellow brokers to co-found The Mortgage House, a new independent brokerage built on transparency, collaboration, and shared values. McIntosh Mortgage Group proudly operates under this platform, alongside other like-minded teams across the country. Tricia serves clients across Canada and is licensed in most Canadian provinces.
