Dong ‘s been in the Financial Services/Mortgage Broker industry for the past 27 years.  Over that time, he’s held numerous senior executive roles and responsibilities.  Dong started his career at TD Bank where he established the Korean Community Banking initiative where banks in Korea would send their investor immigrants to TD.  The program is still active today after 25 years.  Dong then spent several years at the Canada Mortgage & Housing Corporation (CMHC) where he was first exposed to the Mortgage Broker Industry.

For over 15 years, Dong served as the Vice President of Operations for Mortgage Architects and was responsible for the industries two largest brand amalgamations – where he rebranded over 1500 agents to the MA brand from Argentum Financial and MortgageBrokers.com.  From there is was promoted to President of Mortgage Architects and it grew into the 5^th largest brokerage in Canada and then promoted to Chief Operating Officer for the DLC Group of Companies.

Dong is also actively involved in the industry providing advice to the Provincial Regulators, serving on numerous committees like fraud and the Technical Advisory Committee for FSRA.  Dong also was a Director for Mortgage Professionals Canada for 5 years and served as its 26^th Chair.

Most Recently Dong has accepted a role as the Chief Executive Officer for Axiom Innovations in February 2024.
