Bernadette Lagrito
Bernadette Lagrito is an Account Representative with CMHC, supporting mortgage brokers and lender partners across the Vancouver Lower Mainland and the Interior. She first joined CMHC in 2015 and recently completed a two-year assignment in Communications and Marketing. Now returning to her broker-focused role, she’s excited to, once again, work closely with industry partners to help Canadians access safe and affordable places to call home.
With nearly 18 years of experience in the mortgage and housing industry, Bernadette blends lending expertise with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for training. Her experience spans mortgage origination, national outreach, and broker/lender education at CMHC, and she also holds a diploma in Radio and Television Broadcasting – fueling her passion for public speaking and delivering engaging presentations.
Outside of work, Bernadette is a pianist, an animal lover with a cat and two rabbits, and a proud Co-Lead of CMHC’s Asian Employee Network. She cares deeply about community, collaboration, and helping her partners start each year stronger and more informed.
